WORKFLOW CONSULTING FOR SMALL BUSINESSES

Make everyday
work faster.
Less painful.

Quotes, follow-ups, paperwork or copying details between apps? I help small business owners simplify that work with practical changes to their processes, existing software and AI.

Start with a written fit check
20 minutes No obligation

No specific task in mind? Start with what makes your day harder than it should.

Practical improvements.
A little more breathing room.

Less time on repeat tasks

Fewer things to keep in your head

You stay in control

SMALL CHANGES. MEANINGFUL DIFFERENCE.

You didn’t start a business
to spend your day chasing it.

Copying details. Chasing replies. Remembering every next step. I find the friction and make one useful improvement at a time.

A follow-up list that replaces memory.

You keep the personal conversation and approve what goes out.

ILLUSTRATIVE WORKFLOW
THE EVERYDAY FRICTION

Check email, search messages and try to remember who still needs a reply.

A BETTER WAY TO WORK

Bring enquiries into one place, with a clear next action and a reminder to follow up.

The right answer might be a simpler process, a feature you already pay for, automation or AI. The workflow comes first.

A PERSON TO WORK WITH

Hi, I’m Mark.

I’m the person you’ll talk to about your business and the work you want to make easier. I start by understanding how you work today, including the exceptions, before recommending a change.

A CLEAR PATH FROM FRICTION TO FLOW

Understand it first.
Make it easier. Then make it stick.

Six considered steps. You know what happens next, what I need from you and what you walk away with.

  1. 01Qualify

    Find the right starting point.

    Free 20-minute call or questionnaire

Tell me about your business, the friction and what you want to change. No specific task in mind yet? That is a valid starting point.

    YOU LEAVE WITH

A shared decision on whether to continue.

  2. 02Track work

See where your time really goes.

2–3 days over the next week

Keep a simple task diary, including interruptions and the work that follows you home. Rough estimates and a few recent examples are enough.

    YOU LEAVE WITH

A task diary that reveals the real patterns.

  3. 03Assess

    Walk through the real work.

    One-hour assessment

Show me 1–2 promising workflows in your existing tools. I look at the steps, the exceptions and why you do things this way.

    YOU LEAVE WITH

A clear picture of the process and constraints.

  4. 04Research

    Choose a change worth making.

    Research after the assessment

I check practical options, starting with features you already pay for. You receive a written recommendation, expected benefit and fixed implementation quote.

    YOU LEAVE WITH

A recommendation you can make a decision on.

  5. 05Implement

Put the better way into practice.

    Agreed scope & timeline

I build and test the agreed change with real examples and important exceptions. Then I show you how to use it and hand over a written owner guide.

    YOU LEAVE WITH

A tested workflow, owner instruction and guide.

  6. 06Support

Make sure the change settles in.

    One month included at handover

Launch support covers defects plus the usage questions and minor adjustments agreed in your quote. We review the results; ongoing support is optional.

    YOU LEAVE WITH

A supported launch. A clear next step.

You approve the scope and fixed quote before implementation begins.

THE INVESTMENT

Clear scope.
No leap of faith.

First, understand the opportunity. Then decide whether the benefit justifies the investment. No implementation commitment required.

01 / START WITH FIT

A useful first step.

Always freeFree 20-minute call or questionnaire

Tell me where the work gets hard. We’ll decide together if there is a useful opportunity to explore.

  • Your context and priorities
  • An honest fit decision
  • A clear next step
05–06 / IMPLEMENT & SUPPORT

A change that works for you.

A fixed project quoteBased on the agreed solution

Know the deliverables, timeline, owner involvement and software costs before you say yes.

  • Build, test & instruct the owner
  • Written guide to use and share
  • One month of launch support included
Ongoing support is always optional.

GOOD WORK STARTS WITH A GOOD FIT

For owners ready to make
one thing easier.

You don’t need a perfect process, a big team or technical know-how. Just recurring friction and a willingness to explore a better way.

Tell me about your business

Work gets repeated, delayed or held together by memory.

You can show me how the work happens, awkward bits included.

You’re willing to track a few days and help test the change.

You can approve the work, or involve the person who can.

No specific task in mind? I can help you find the starting point.

A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING

Before we
say hello.

Do I need to know what to automate?

No. Feeling overloaded without knowing exactly why is a useful starting point. The questionnaire, task diary and assessment help us find the right problem before we consider solutions.

Will I need new software or AI?

Only if it makes sense for your workflow. I start with the tools and subscriptions you already have. The answer might be an existing feature, a template, a simpler process, an integration or AI. Any new software fees and review requirements are explained before you decide.

How much of my time will this take?

Start with a free 20-minute call, or use the short questionnaire if you prefer to write. If we proceed, track 2–3 representative working days over the next week and join a one-hour assessment. You will also share examples, make decisions and help test the implementation. The proposal defines your involvement and the timeline.

What if the recommendation is not worth implementing?

There is no obligation to proceed. Your written recommendation remains yours to use. If the likely benefit does not justify the cost, I can recommend a smaller change, a self-service option or no project.

What happens after the first month of support?

You keep your guide and agreed account access. A monthly support retainer is optional and quoted for your systems and needs. New workflows and substantial changes are scoped separately. Owner instruction is included; the written guide helps you train your staff.

LET’S MAKE A LITTLE MORE ROOM

Check the fit.
In your own time.

This written fit check can replace the introductory call. I’ll review your answers and reply about whether an assessment makes sense. If anything needs clarifying, we can arrange a free call first.
